Musuem Police station area cleared of junk vehicles

For a change, the area around the Museum Police station looks clean. Most of the junked vehicles have been removed or shifted making the place look open and easier for pedestrians and other road users. Hope other police stations also follow suit.

 Koodiyattam, a 2000 year old dance form being performed in Thiruvananthapuram under the aegis of Drisyavedi. UNESCO has declared Kutiyaam as  one among the "Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity". The male actors are from the Chakyar community and the female parts are played by Nangiars. Accompaniments are Mizhavu and edakka played by Nambiar men and kuzhitalam by Nangiars

Why do schools have entrances like prison gates?

The sree home has a new metal roof. Somehow I liked the tiles. The metal roof is funtional but garish.
